JAMES DUNDON'S BIG ORGAN
Here are a few of the historic photos of the Blauwtje, which show its many changes though the years!
Blauwtje in Holland
This Dutch Street organ has spent its whole life busking on the streets of Holland. Over there, the instruments make a living for many, playing in town centres on busy shopping days.
Through its life, Het Blauwtje has been owned and operated by many different people and played in public places, sometimes six days a week to earn its keep.

Blauwtje comes to Cornwall
It was a dream come true, when I was able to purchace this organ. John Wempe its former owner has trusted me with looking after it, and bringing its merry music to a new audience.
Getting the organ back from Holland was no mean feat! Click though the photos below to see and read the story of the Blauwtje coming to Cornwall.

Work on the trailer begins
To get the organ on the road in 2012, I converted a box trailer to store and display the organ.
2012 - the first year on the road
With the trailer finished, the organ played at various Cornish events throughout the year.
2013 - A new trailer
After 12 months of searching, I found the perfect trailer to display the organ. This is much more accessible for the public to view the workings of the organ. Transferring it over again was a nail biter!
